These are the key features of Silkworm, a system that has revolutionized the concept of stretch film wrapping by combining robotics with the 1000 mm reel and rotating product that ensure high system speed.

The automatic changeover of the wrapping head makes it possible to safely increase the efficiency of the system compared to standards: a patented technology that, thanks to the two heads, guarantees operational continuity and autonomy of up to 8 hours with a single system. The use of the 1000mm film reel and 60kg weight significantly reduces its replacement frequency, allowing the number of wrapping turns to be decreased compared to traditional systems using the 500mm reel. The management software combined with the 1000mm reel allows the creation of the right wrapping recipe for each customer's needs, controlling the value of the film pre-stretch and using only the amount of film needed according to the type of product.

Silkworm thus ensures maximum load stability, drastic reduction in the amount of plastic used, energy consumption and maintenance costs, as well as mechanical moving parts and wear components.
