A true highlight was without a doubt the panel discussion on the future of the packaging industry, moderated by none other than Per-Stefan Gersbro, a veteran with over 30 years of experience in the international packaging market.
The New Packaging Regulation
The Swedish government has decided to raise the requirements for a more sustainable recycling strategy.
This means that several changes will take place within the recycling sector.
Starting January 1, 2024, municipalities will be responsible for the collection of packaging waste.
