Since 2020, Åsa has been working at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) with a focus on circular economy and plastics. She is responsible for national plastic coordination, with the mission to foster collaboration and drive the transition toward sustainable plastic use. Åsa is also involved in the work on the new packaging legislation and the negotiations for a global agreement to end plastic pollution.
