When Empack Stockholm 2026 opens its doors, the industry will once again come together to explore the solutions and innovations shaping the packaging landscape of the future. We are now introducing the fair\u2019s second focus area: Food and Beverage<\/strong>. This is an area that places food packaging at the center of sustainable transformation, efficient production, and increased consumer appeal.<\/p>\n

Here, we highlight how food packaging can create real value across the entire chain, from raw materials to finished products on the store shelf. The focus is on solutions that combine sustainability, functionality, and business value, where every step in the process plays a crucial role.<\/p>\n

A central part of the area is about recycling that works in practice. It is not only about material choices, but about the entire system. From design decisions that enable circularity, to collection and sorting that actually works in everyday life. How can we design packaging that becomes part of an efficient circular system rather than waste?<\/p>\n

We also highlight efficient filling processes, focusing on ensuring high quality, strong hygiene standards, and flexibility in production. Through smarter solutions, downtime can be minimized, waste reduced, and production optimized without compromising food safety.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Food and Beverage area explores smart labelling and labeling technologies, where clear information, traceability, and technical innovation come together.
